In addition to Skuru IK, 61 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Skuru IK could be found in Group 3 together with H43 Lund HF 3, Alingsås HK 1, Kristianstad HK 3, Vassunda IF, Borlänge HK 1, Sannadals SK Vit, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb hbk and Kärra HF 3.

Skuru IK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 2 with 12-13. In the Final, Eslövs IK won over Alingsås HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

Skuru IK also participated in Flickor 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Spånga HK 2 with 7-17.
