In addition to the two Alingsås teams, 60 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 2 could be found in Group 1 together with KFUM Lundagård, Borlänge HK 2, Tyresö Handboll 1, Sannadals SK Röd, Kävlinge HK 1, IK Lågan Hörby, Gustavsbergs IF HK and Åhus Handboll.

Alingsås HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Lugi HF 2 with 6-11. In the Final, Eslövs IK won over Alingsås HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

Alingsås HK also participated in Flickor 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F02 A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 1 with 8-12.
