In addition to the 5 Alingsås teams, 70 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 5 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Mullsjö, Karlskrona Handboll 1, Skuru IK 3, IFK Kristianstad 1, Kungsängens SK 2, IFK Malmö HF, Tomelilla IF 2 and IK Sund 2.

Alingsås HK 5 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 2 with 11-12. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over H43 Lund HF 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 2 with 9-11 and ended up in second place.
