In addition to IFK Malmö HF, 74 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IFK Malmö HF could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Mullsjö, Karlskrona Handboll 1, Skuru IK 3, IFK Kristianstad 1, Kungsängens SK 2, Tomelilla IF 2, IK Sund 2 and Alingsås HK 5.

IFK Malmö HF continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Skuru IK 1 with 8-14. In the Final, Ronneby HK won over Eslövs HF 1grön and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

IFK Malmö HF also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They won C-Slutspel, after beating KFUM Kalmar HK in the final with 10-9.
