In addition to the two Tomelilla teams, 73 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Tomelilla IF 2 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Mullsjö, Karlskrona Handboll 1, Skuru IK 3, IFK Kristianstad 1, Kungsängens SK 2, IFK Malmö HF, IK Sund 2 and Alingsås HK 5.

Tomelilla IF 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Åhus Handboll 1 with 6-12. In the Final, Önnereds HK won over Borlänge HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

Tomelilla IF also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P04 B-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby with 7-12.
