In addition to the two Alingsås teams, 78 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 1 could be found in Group 4 together with IK Bolton, Ronneby HK 2, Uppsala HK 4, VästeråsIrsta HF, H43 Lund HF 1, Ystads IF HF 3, HF Limhamn Svart, Halmstad Handboll 2 and Kävlinge HK 3.

Alingsås HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against HK Aranäs 1 with 10-15. In the Final, H43 Lund HF 2 won over HK Aranäs 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against OV Helsingborg HK 1 with 6-8.
