In addition to the three Alingsås teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 2 could be found in Group 7 together with IFK Bankeryd Rosa, Önnereds HK Svart, Vinslövs HK 1, Falu HK, Staffanstorps HK, IFK Malmö HF, Haninge HK, IFK Tumba HK and Kävlinge HK.

Alingsås HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Eslövs IK 3 with 11-12. In the Final, Alingsås HK 1 won over Eslövs IK 3 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Alingsås HK also participated in Flickor 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They won A-Slutspel, after beating Eslövs IK 3 in the final with 11-7.
