In addition to the 5 Alingsås teams, 70 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Uppsala HK 1, Kävlinge HK 1, HK Malmö 1, IK Bolton 3, Önnereds HK, HK Aranäs 1, H43 Lund HF 4, KFUM Kalmar HK and Huddinge HK 3.

Alingsås HK 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 1 with 9-14. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over H43 Lund HF 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 2 with 9-11 and ended up in second place.
