In addition to Trelleborg Handbollsklubb, 61 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Trelleborg Handbollsklubb hbk could be found in Group 3 together with H43 Lund HF 3, Alingsås HK 1, Kristianstad HK 3, Vassunda IF, Borlänge HK 1, Sannadals SK Vit, Skuru IK and Kärra HF 3.
Trelleborg Handbollsklubb hbk continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against VästeråsIrsta HF with 8-9. In the Final, IK Lågan Hörby won over H43 Lund HF 2 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2002. Trelleborg Handbollsklubb also participated in Flickor 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
