In addition to Skuru IK, 79 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Skuru IK could be found in Group 4 together with IK Bolton Svart, Lödde Vikings HK 3, Tollarps IF 3, Falköpings AIK HK ROSA, Alingsås HK 3, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb Vit, Lugi HF 1, Kristianstad HK 3 and IFK Bankeryd Blå.

Skuru IK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK 1 with 8-9. In the Final, Alingsås HK 1 won over Eslövs IK 3 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.
