Göteborg Beach Handball Club was one of 265 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019. They participated with two teams in Pojkar 2004 and Flickor 2008 respectively. The team in Pojkar 2004 made it to the the 1/8 Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 4 by 9-11.

In addition to this, Göteborg Beach Handball Club have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018, Göteborg Beach had three teams playing in Pojkar 2001, Herrar Junior 98-00 and Senior Förening Herrar respectively. The team in Pojkar 2001 made it to the the Final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Sävehof 1 by 10-11.

Göteborg Beach comes from Torslanda which lies approximately 250 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Torslanda does also provide 21 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019 (Among others: Torslanda HK, Redbergslids IK, Team Haganäs, Lag Oklart, Triumf Glass, Hp warta, Suntrip ft. Claes, Kvibergs Handbollsklubb, Önnereds HK and Chalmers HK).
