In addition to Göteborg Beach Handball Club, 74 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Göteborg Beach Handball Club could be found in Group 1 together with H43 Lund HF 2, Kungsängens SK 1, Lödde Vikings HK, Borlänge HK 1, IK Sund 1, Uppsala HK 2, Hultsfreds HF and IFK Kristianstad 3.

Göteborg Beach Handball Club continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 4 with 9-11. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over H43 Lund HF 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.
