In addition to the four Halmstad teams, 71 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 4 could be found in Group 6 together with IFK Bankeryd Vit, HK Roslagen 2, Ronneby HK, Lugi HF, IK Sävehof, H43 Lund HF 5, Spånga HK, Alingsås HK 3 and Åhus Handboll 1.
Halmstad Handboll 4 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 4 with 10-13. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over H43 Lund HF 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004. Halmstad Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018.
