In addition to the two Roslagen teams, 73 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof HK Roslagen 2 could be found in Group 6 together with IFK Bankeryd Vit, Ronneby HK, Lugi HF, IK Sävehof, H43 Lund HF 5, Spånga HK, Alingsås HK 3, Åhus Handboll 1 and Halmstad Handboll 4.

HK Roslagen 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 2 with 11-12. In the Final, Önnereds HK won over Borlänge HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.
