In addition to HK Roslagen, 29 other teams played in Pojkar 2001. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof HK Roslagen could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Kristianstad 2, Önnereds HK Team Dino, Åhus Handboll Blå, Borlänge HK Svart, Karlskrona Handboll, IK Bolton 3, H43 Lund HF Migogang, H43 Lund HF 1 H43 Lund Elit and Halmstad Handboll 2.

HK Roslagen continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Vinslövs HK with 10-11. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 2 won over IFK Kristianstad 1 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2001.
