In addition to the 5 Alingsås teams, 70 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 3 could be found in Group 6 together with IFK Bankeryd Vit, HK Roslagen 2, Ronneby HK, Lugi HF, IK Sävehof, H43 Lund HF 5, Spånga HK, Åhus Handboll 1 and Halmstad Handboll 4.

Alingsås HK 3 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 1 with 13-16. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over H43 Lund HF 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 2 with 9-11 and ended up in second place.
