In addition to the two Sund teams, 73 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IK Sund 1 could be found in Group 1 together with Göteborg Beach Handball Club, H43 Lund HF 2, Kungsängens SK 1, Lödde Vikings HK, Borlänge HK 1, Uppsala HK 2, Hultsfreds HF and IFK Kristianstad 3.

IK Sund 1 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Redbergslids IK 1 with 10-14. In the Final, Önnereds HK won over Borlänge HK 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

IK Sund also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Alingsås HK 2 with 6-11.
