In addition to the two Sund teams, 73 other teams played in Pojkar 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IK Sund 2 could be found in Group 2 together with IFK Mullsjö, Karlskrona Handboll 1, Skuru IK 3, IFK Kristianstad 1, Kungsängens SK 2, IFK Malmö HF, Tomelilla IF 2 and Alingsås HK 5.

IK Sund 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 3 with 9-14. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 3 won over H43 Lund HF 4 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2004.

IK Sund also participated in Pojkar 2004 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in P04 A-Slutspel, but lost it against Alingsås HK 2 with 6-11.
