In addition to the four Kungälvs teams, 76 other teams played in Flickor 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Kungälvs HK rosa could be found in Group 8 together with Höörs HK H 65 4, Hammarby IF HF Grön, Vadstena HF, Trelleborg Handbollsklubb, HK Ankaret Röd, Åhus Handboll Lag 1, Växjö HF, Uppsala HK 4 and H43 Lund HF 1 NF.

Kungälvs HK rosa continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Eslövs IK 3 with 7-9. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll 2 won over Eslövs IK 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2004.
