In addition to the two Falu teams, 78 other teams played in Flickor 2004. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Falu HK 2 could be found in Group 3 together with H43 Lund HF Lund ÖT, Staffanstorps HK Blå, Uppsala HK 3, HK Malmö, Skuru IK, Höörs HK H 65 1, IK Sävehof, Ovesholms IF 1 and Ljungslätt HF.

Falu HK 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Höörs HK H 65 2 with 7-8. In the Final, Kristianstad HK won over Lödde Vikings HK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 2004.
