In addition to IK Lågan Hörby, 79 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof IK Lågan Hörby could be found in Group 8 together with Borlänge HK P06, Hultsfreds HF, IFK Malmö HF Team Malmö, Åhus Handboll 2, Skuru IK, Uppsala HK 1, Kävlinge HK 2, Eslövs HF Grön and HK Aranäs 4.

IK Lågan Hörby continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 2 with 8-11. In the Final, H43 Lund HF 2 won over HK Aranäs 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

IK Lågan Hörby also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 3 with 9-10.
