In addition to the three Åhus teams, 77 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Åhus Handboll 2 could be found in Group 8 together with Borlänge HK P06, Hultsfreds HF, IK Lågan Hörby, IFK Malmö HF Team Malmö, Skuru IK, Uppsala HK 1, Kävlinge HK 2, Eslövs HF Grön and HK Aranäs 4.

Åhus Handboll 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 8. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Ystads IF HF 4 with 10-13. In the Final, H43 Lund HF 2 won over HK Aranäs 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.

Åhus Handboll also participated in Pojkar 2005 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the Semi final in P05 A-Slutspel, but lost it against HK Aranäs 1 with 12-13.
