In addition to IFK Tumba HK, 58 other teams played in Pojkar 2002. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IFK Tumba HK could be found in Group 6 together with HK Aranäs 2, Staffanstorps HK Röd, Önnereds HK, Raklev G&I HF Kalundborg 1, IFK Malmö HF 2, Alingsås HK 2, H43 Lund HF, Växjö HF and Åhus Handboll 1.

IFK Tumba HK continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 1 with 7-10. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 4 won over HK Ankaret 1 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002.

IFK Tumba HK also participated in Pojkar 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in P02 C-Slutspel, but lost it against VästeråsIrsta HF with 8-13.
