In addition to the three Alingsås teams, 56 other teams played in Pojkar 2002. They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Alingsås HK 2 could be found in Group 6 together with HK Aranäs 2, Staffanstorps HK Röd, Önnereds HK, Raklev G&I HF Kalundborg 1, IFK Malmö HF 2, H43 Lund HF, IFK Tumba HK, Växjö HF and Åhus Handboll 1.

Alingsås HK 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Alingsås HK 3 with 11-13. In the Final, Ystads IF HF 3 won over Alingsås HK 3 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2002.

Alingsås HK also participated in Pojkar 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/4 Final in P02 C-Slutspel, but lost it against H43 Lund HF 5 with 10-11.
