In addition to the two Hallby teams, 27 other teams played in Flickor 2001. They were divided into 3 different groups, whereof IF Hallby HK 1 could be found in Group 3 together with Borlänge HK 1, Lugi HF, Uppsala HK Aflick, Gustavsbergs IF HK, Alingsås HK 1, Kävlinge HK, IK Sävehof and Kärra HF 3.

IF Hallby HK 1 continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 9:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against H43 Lund HF with 7-9. In the Final, IF Hallby HK 2 won over Halmstad Handboll and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2001.
