AIK Handbollsförening was one of 265 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019. They participated with one team in Flickor 2002.

In addition to AIK Handbollsförening, 61 other teams played in Flickor 2002. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof AIK Handbollsförening could be found in Group 6 together with IFK Tumba HK 3, H 78 Sölvesborg, Tingsryds HK, Kävlinge HK 2, IFK Kristianstad 3, Finspångs HK, H43 Lund HF 03, IK Sävehof and Spånga HK Sol.

AIK Handbollsförening continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Borlänge HK 3 with 7-13. In the Final, Borlänge HK 3 won over Kristianstad HK 3 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2002.

AIK Handbollsförening also participated in Flickor 2002 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F02 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Sannadals SK 2 with 9-13.

AIK comes from Solna which lies approximately 440 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Solna does also provide 38 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2019 (Among others: IF Swithiod, Vallentuna pitbulls, Vallentuna Snipers, Sannadals SK, Skogås HK, Hyfsat Bekanta, Vi Är Inte Ni!, Tyresö Handboll, Bollstanäs SK and Fellans gäng).
