In addition to Eksjö BK, 79 other teams played in Pojkar 2005. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Eksjö BK EBK could be found in Group 5 together with IFK Strängnäs, HK Aranäs 2, Vinslövs HK 1, IFK Kristianstad 1, Spånga HK, Tollarps IF 2, Lugi HF 1, IFK Ystad HK and Önnereds HK.

Eksjö BK EBK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 2 with 8-9. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 2 won over Åhus Handboll 1 and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Pojkar 2005.
