In addition to the two Växjö teams, 77 other teams played in Flickor 2003. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Växjö HF 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Lidingö SK Grön, Kärra HF, Tomelilla IF, Lugi HF 1, IK Lågan Hörby, Falu HK 2, Skara HF, Sollentuna HK and Kristianstad HK 4.

Växjö HF 2 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Höörs HK H 65 F04 1 with 2-8. In the Final, Lugi HF 3 won over Huddinge HK Blå and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Flickor 2003.

Växjö HF also participated in Flickor 2003 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/16 Final in F03 C-Slutspel, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby with 6-7.
