In addition to the two Växjö teams, 78 other teams played in Flickor 2006. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Växjö HF Svart could be found in Group 5 together with Eskilstuna Guif IF 2, Strömstad HK Svart, Åhus Handboll 1, Eslövs IK 1, Vinslövs HK 2, Tyresö Handboll 2, Halmstad Handboll Röd, H43 Lund HF 1 and Uppsala HK 1.

Växjö HF Svart continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 10:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Huddinge HK 3 with 8-9. In the Final, Höörs HK H 65 1 won over IFK Tumba HK and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 2006.

Växjö HF also participated in Flickor 2006 during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2018. They reached the 1/8 Final in F06 C-Slutspel, but lost it against Tollarps IF 2 with 4-12.
