In addition to the two Växjö teams, 51 other teams played in Pojkar 13 år (födda 2009). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Växjö HF 2 Gul could be found in Group 2 together with Kävlinge HK, IFK Malmö HF Svart, Eslövs HF Vit, H43 Lund HF 1, Staffanstorps HK, Ystads IF HF 2, Åhus Handboll 1 and Elvebyen HK.

Växjö HF 2 Gul continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against IFK Malmö HF Blå with 5-10. In the Final, Huddinge HK Blå won over Vinslövs HK 2 and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Pojkar 13 år (födda 2009).
