In addition to the two Växjö teams, 45 other teams played in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof Växjö HF Gul could be found in Group 4 together with Haninge HK 1, Falu HK, Kristianstad HK Svart, Halmstad Handboll 2 Svart, Lugi HF 1, Önnereds HK 1, Uppsala HK 2, Elvebyen HK and IFK Malmö HF Gul.

Växjö HF Gul continued to C-Slutspel after reaching 7:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Stavsten HK 1 Svart with 7-8. In the Final, IFK Malmö HF Vit won over IK Lågan Hörby and became the winner of C-Slutspel in Flickor 16 år (födda 2006).
