Ljunghusens HK was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with 10 teams in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2006), Flickor 8 år (födda 2014), Flickor 9 år (födda 2013), Flickor 10 år (födda 2012), Flickor 11 år (födda 2011), Flickor 12 år (födda 2010) and Flickor 15 år (födda 2007) respectively. The team in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2006) made it to the the Semi final in A-Slutspel, but lost it against IFK Kristianstad 4 by 4-11.
In addition to this, Ljunghusens HK have participated in Åhus Beachhandboll Festival before. During Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2021, Ljunghusens had 10 teams playing in Pojkar 15 år (födda 2006), Pojkar 16 år (födda 2005), Herrar Junior 19-20 år (födda 2001-2002), Flickor 11 år (födda 2010), Flickor 12 år (födda 2009), Flickor 13 år (födda 2008) and Flickor 15 år (födda 2006) respectively. Ljunghusens comes from HÖLLVIKEN which lies approximately 100 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around HÖLLVIKEN does also provide 21 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022 (Among others: Goal Diggers, HF Limhamn, Dalby GIF, Quicksand, HK Tröstpris, Svarta Fåren, Stavsten HK, Erkan Open, HK Malmö and Dunderdrängarna).
