In addition to the three IFK Bankeryd teams, 48 other teams played in Flickor 17 år (födda 2005). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof IFK Bankeryd 2 could be found in Group 4 together with Huddinge HK 2, Vinslövs HK, Falköpings AIK HK Röd, Falu HK, IFK Kristianstad Orange, OV Helsingborg HK, Gökstens BK and Lugi HF Vinröd.

IFK Bankeryd 2 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Höörs HK H 65 with 9-15. In the Final, Halmstad Handboll won over Alingsås HK F06 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 17 år (födda 2005).
