In addition to Halmstad Handboll, 50 other teams played in Flickor 17 år (födda 2005). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll could be found in Group 3 together with Kristianstad HK 1, Uppsala HK 3, Falköpings AIK HK Vit, HK Aranäs, IK Bolton 2SVART, IFK Bankeryd 1, IK Lågan Hörby 1 and Eslövs IK EIK 1.

Halmstad Handboll made it to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 3. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Alingsås HK F06, which they won with 10-9. Thereby Halmstad Handboll won the entire A-Slutspel in Flickor 17 år (födda 2005) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
