In addition to the three Halmstad teams, 13 other teams played in Herrar Junior 19-20 år (födda 2002-2003). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 1 could be found in Group 1 together with HK Silwing-Troja, Dalby GIF, Uppsala HK UHK-04, Åhus Handboll, Tollarps IF 1, HK Malmö and IFK Kristianstad 1.

Halmstad Handboll 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against HK Silwing-Troja with 10-13. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 1 won over HK Silwing-Troja and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 19-20 år (födda 2002-2003).
