In addition to the two Halmstad teams, 17 other teams played in Flickor 18 år (födda 2004). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Kristianstad HK, Lugi HF, Lödde Vikings HK Lödde Vikings, Uppsala HK 1, Höörs HK H 65 1, Åhus Handboll 2, Eslövs IK and Eskilstuna Guif IF.

Halmstad Handboll 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 2:nd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Lödde Vikings HK Tjajorna with 10-11. In the Final, Lödde Vikings HK Tjajorna won over Kristianstad HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 18 år (födda 2004).
