In addition to the two Halmstad teams, 17 other teams played in Flickor 18 år (födda 2004). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll 2 could be found in Group 1 together with Lödde Vikings HK Tjajorna, Höörs HK H 65 2, Uppsala HK 2, Sannadals SK 292 546 828, H43 Lund HF, Åhus Handboll 1, Eslövs IK EIK, Mölndals HF and Staffanstorps HK.

Halmstad Handboll 2 made it to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Höörs HK H 65 1 with 10-12. Thereby Halmstad Handboll 2 finished second in F18 (f. 2004) B-Slutspel during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
