In addition to HK Malmö, 15 other teams played in Herrar Junior 19-20 år (födda 2002-2003). They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof HK Malmö could be found in Group 1 together with HK Silwing-Troja, Dalby GIF, Uppsala HK UHK-04, Åhus Handboll, Halmstad Handboll 1, Tollarps IF 1 and IFK Kristianstad 1.

HK Malmö continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Halmstad Handboll 2 with 7-12. In the Final, IFK Kristianstad 1 won over HK Silwing-Troja and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Herrar Junior 19-20 år (födda 2002-2003).
