Motståndarna was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.

In addition to Motståndarna, 17 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Motståndarna could be found in Group 2 together with Dags för byte?, HF Rimbo, Goal Diggers, Halmstad Handboll, B-laget, Eslöv, The Underdogs and Årets pr trick.

Motståndarna continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Team van Stam with 9-12. In the Final, B-laget won over Svarta Fåren and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer.

Motståndarna comes from Köpingebro which lies approximately 58 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Köpingebro does also provide 9 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022 (Veberöds HK, HK Björnen, IFK Ystad HK, Beach Boys, Ystads IF HF, Tomelilla IF, Sillahue, SUF HF and Green devils).
