The Underdogs was one of 205 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to The Underdogs, 17 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof The Underdogs could be found in Group 2 together with Dags för byte?, HF Rimbo, Goal Diggers, Motståndarna, Halmstad Handboll, B-laget, Eslöv and Årets pr trick. The Underdogs continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against A-laget with 4-11. In the Final, A-laget won over Halmstad Handboll and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. The Underdogs comes from Göteborg which lies approximately 240 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022 (Among others: Chalmers HK, Särökometernas HK, HK Aranäs, Stora Röda Huset, IK Sävehof, Mölndals HF, Göteborg Beach Handball Club, Ligu, Önnereds HK and Ekipaget & Slitaget). 9 games playedGoals |
