Team van Stam was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Damer.
In addition to Team van Stam, 18 other teams played in Öppen klass Damer. They were divided into 2 different groups, whereof Team van Stam could be found in Group 2 together with Handqueens, Kävlinge HK 1, Oompa Loompas, Svarta Fåren, Tollarps IF, Gulbrunabrudar, B-laget and Weekend warriors. Team van Stam continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against B-laget with 8-12. In the Final, B-laget won over Svarta Fåren and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Damer. Team van Stam comes from Skövde which lies approximately 280 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
