Vakant HK was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.
In addition to Vakant HK, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Vakant HK could be found in Group 7 together with Mönsterås HK Energikrisen BK, U-Laget, Joulupukki, Jaga FC, Södra Lund, Powerheat Radio and Svampbob Trekant. Vakant HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kärlekens boys with 10-11. In the Final, Kärlekens boys won over SALOS DRÄPARE and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar. Vakant comes from Tibro which lies approximately 280 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
