In addition to the two Halmstad teams, 53 other teams played in Pojkar 14 år (födda 2009). They were divided into 6 different groups, whereof Halmstad Handboll Röd could be found in Group 5 together with Elvebyen HK, H43 Lund HF Vit, Uppsala HK, Alingsås HK Blå, Åhus Horna BK, Eslövs HF 1, IFK Kristianstad Blå, Täby HBK and HK Cliff Gul.

Halmstad Handboll Röd continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against IK Lågan Hörby 3 with 11-14. In the Final, IK Lågan Hörby 3 won over Norrköpings HK and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 14 år (födda 2009).
