In addition to the two IFK Kristianstad teams, 44 other teams played in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2007). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Kristianstad 1 could be found in Group 2 together with Lugi HF 2, Eskilstuna Guif IF Röd, Ystads IF HF 4, IK Lågan Hörby 1, Önnereds HK 2, Vinslövs HK 2, IFK Bankeryd 2 and HK Aranäs Blå.
IFK Kristianstad 1 continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Täby HBK 1 with 9-10. In the Final, Lugi HF 1 won over Täby HBK 1 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Pojkar 16 år (födda 2007). IFK Kristianstad also participated in Pojkar 15 år (födda 2007) during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2022.
