Benestad United ÖKH

Benestad United was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Benestad United, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Benestad United could be found in Group 5 together with Gulgröna hjältar, Bolton Big Ballers 5, Goat fanboys, Rinkabyhult, Mammas pojkar MP, Marre BK and BATMAN.

Benestad United continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Täby MNT FC with 8-11. In the Final, Avgå Alla won over Powerheat Radio and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Benestad United comes from Tomelilla which lies approximately 48 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Tomelilla does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: HK Björnen, Byfånarna, Veberöds HK, S.U.F, Ystads IF HF, IK Lågan Hörby, IFK Ystad HK, Dankgang, Tomelilla IF and Österlens IK).
