In addition to IFK Ystad HK, 47 other teams played in Flickor 12 år (födda 2011). They were divided into 5 different groups, whereof IFK Ystad HK could be found in Group 2 together with Huddinge HK Vind, Särökometernas HK Svart, IFK Kristianstad Svart, Ljunghusens HK 2 (Tom), Åhus Handboll Röd, Lödde Vikings HK Vit, HF Karlskrona 1, IFK Malmö HF 1 and IFK Bankeryd Blå.

IFK Ystad HK continued to A-Slutspel after reaching 3:rd place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Hässleholms HF 2 with 3-8. In the Final, Växjö HF 1 won over Hässleholms HF 2 and became the winner of A-Slutspel in Flickor 12 år (födda 2011).
