Sandboll HC was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Sandboll HC, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Sandboll HC could be found in Group 1 together with Sommarbyns HK, SALOS DRÄPARE, Det är något med vattnet, Guldkustens HK, Genföreningen Junior H43, MÅSTE VILA and GB Glace.

Sandboll HC continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 8:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against JÖKA with 4-11. In the Final, Avgå Alla won over Powerheat Radio and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Sandboll comes from Kristianstad which lies approximately 14 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Kristianstad does also provide 55 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Fräcka Falkarna 3, Byfånarna, Bäst före detta, Gott & blandat, MÅSTE VILA, IF Kristianstad, Ceimertz, Jaga FC, Avgå Alla and Ballingslöv).
