Guldkustens HK was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Guldkustens HK, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Guldkustens HK could be found in Group 1 together with Sommarbyns HK, SALOS DRÄPARE, Det är något med vattnet, Sandboll HC, Genföreningen Junior H43, MÅSTE VILA and GB Glace.

Guldkustens HK continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 6:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Dansa Med HK with 10-11. In the Final, Avgå Alla won over Powerheat Radio and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Guldkustens comes from Höllviken which lies approximately 100 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Höllviken does also provide 33 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Sopis, Staffanstorps HK, HK Micro, IFK Malmö HF, HF Limhamn, Ljunghusens HK, LVHK motion, Lugi HF, Lödde Vikings HK and Tommys töser).
