Genföreningen Junior ÖKH H43

Genföreningen Junior was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Öppen klass Herrar.

In addition to Genföreningen Junior, 54 other teams played in Öppen klass Herrar. They were divided into 7 different groups, whereof Genföreningen Junior H43 could be found in Group 1 together with Sommarbyns HK, SALOS DRÄPARE, Det är något med vattnet, Sandboll HC, Guldkustens HK, MÅSTE VILA and GB Glace.

Genföreningen Junior H43 continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 5:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Powerheat Radio with 12-16. In the Final, Avgå Alla won over Powerheat Radio and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Öppen klass Herrar.

Genföreningen Junior comes from Lund which lies approximately 75 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place. The area around Lund does also provide 66 additional clubs participating during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023 (Among others: Sopis, Staffanstorps HK, Guldkustens HK, HK Micro, HK Björnen, Byfånarna, Mammas pojkar, Bäst före detta, Powerheat Radio and Södra Rörum).
