Genföreningen was one of 226 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Åhus Beachhandboll Festival 2023. They participated with one team in Motionsklass Herrar.
In addition to Genföreningen, 39 other teams played in Motionsklass Herrar. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Genföreningen could be found in Group 1 together with S.U.F, BO-Laget, BK Bakåtpass BKBS and Ifk Tylö. Genföreningen continued to B-Slutspel after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Äntligen här igen with 8-9. In the Final, Eslövs Gubbarna won over S.U.F and became the winner of B-Slutspel in Motionsklass Herrar. Genföreningen comes from LUND which lies approximately 76 km from Åhus, where Åhus Beachhandboll Festival takes place.
